Job Description
Are you a structured and proactive student eager to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector?
Join our Electrification and Automation (EA) business unit, where we work to electrify and automate energy infrastructure across Denmark. Our department manages the entire value chain—from sales and project management to execution—and is involved in some of the nation’s largest energy projects.
About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Student Assistant to design, develop, and maintain internal collaboration tools, primarily on Microsoft SharePoint and across the Microsoft Power Platform. Your work will focus on enhancing workflows, streamlining data handling, and boosting collaboration within the team.
You will work alongside another student assistant who focuses on data structuring and collection, while your role will emphasize technical implementation—developing and maintaining the IT infrastructure behind these solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Power Platform tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate to build scalable solutions supporting internal workflows and reporting.
- Automate internal processes using Power Automate or similar automation tools.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing SharePoint solutions based on user feedback.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, sales managers, and line managers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable digital solutions.
You will work approximately 15 hours per week, with the option to work from home. We expect you to be present at our Ballerup office at least once a week. We offer flexibility during exam periods and busy academic weeks.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you should:
- Have a proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- Show interest in automation, data integration, and digital collaboration tools.
- Have experience or familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, or scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Project Online is an advantage.
- Be structured, communicative, and capable of translating user needs into effective technical solutions.
What We Offer
- Flexible working hours tailored to your availability.
- Freedom to shape your role and bring forward your own ideas.
- A collaborative, open-minded team environment.
- Opportunities to complete an internship or thesis project with us in the future.
Workplace Culture
We foster an informal, supportive work culture where teamwork and mutual support drive success. As a student worker, you’ll have the freedom to complete tasks in your own way and will be entrusted with increasing responsibility to help you grow professionally.
We care about our employees’ well-being and offer a variety of benefits. You will also be invited to join Young Professionals, a network created by and for young talents to help you connect, share experiences, and feel at home in your role.
